April 10, 2008: Discussion with Senator Obama's Policy Director, Karen Kornbluh
PRO-ACT’s Tom McQuarrie and Fred Martin arrived at the Thomas Great Hall in Bryn Mawr, PA early and made the opportunity to talk with Senator Obama’s Policy Director, Karen Kornbluh, before her presentation on behalf of the Obama campaign. They talked with her about Recovery Voices Count, using the 5 questions for candidates and were told that she would pass on the questions to the campaign. Lessons learned: “Arrive early and look for the speaker, they’re usually there early too.”
