Campaigns: Addiction Recovery Insurance Equity
Join us on September 17 at 9:30am for a rally on Capitol Hill
for the final push to get Congress to take this long overdue action before ending this session. The rally will be on the Cannon House Office Building Terrace (on the corner of Independence Avenue and New Jersey Avenue, Southeast. The closest Metro stop is Capitol South on the Blue/Orange Line).

Speakers will include Representatives Patrick Kennedy (D-RI) and Jim Ramstad (R-MN), sponsors of the Paul Wellstone Mental Health and Addiction Equity Act and David Wellstone of Wellstone Action. A compromise bill has been agreed to by House and Senate sponsors and must come before both the House and Senate for final passage before it is sent to President Bush for his signature.
