Event: Rally for Recovery! 2008
On September 20 over 40,000 people in recovery, family members, friends and allies came together to speak out and take action for recovery. What a day for recovery! In St. Louis, MO over 1300 people joined Hands Across the Bridge after hearing from Academy Award winning actor Louis Gossett, Jr., recovery speakers and others at the National Hub event. Calls came in from around the country, reporting on the rallies, walks and meetings organized by advocates.
