Survey on the Recovery Community

Participate in an online survey designed to research the civic and political roles that members of the recovery community are playing in their communities. As part of Tammy Peacock MeGahee’s doctoral studies at the University of Texas, she is conducting a study of the civic and political interest and activities of individuals recovering from alcohol and/or drug addiction.

Since individuals in recovery from alcohol and drug addiction are often anonymous, there has been minimal research on the civic and political roles that members of the recovering community are playing in their communities. To participate in the survey, please use this link before November 15th. The survey takes approximately 20 minutes to complete and should only be completed once. Information that would identify participants is not being collected. This survey is only for individuals over the age of 18 who are recovering from alcohol and/or drug addiction and are residents of the US.

If you have any questions, concerns, or are interested in the results of the survey you may contact Tammy Peacock MeGahee’s at 205-706-5414 or tpeacock@mail.utexas.edu or her supervising professor, Diana M. DiNitto, Ph.D. 512-471-9227, ddinitto@mail.utexas.edu.
