Save the Date for Our Next Faces & Voices Media Training!
Save December 15th and 16th for a Faces & Voices regional media training in Dallas, Texas. We are hosting the media training with the Association of Persons Affected by Addiction and will be sending out more detailed information, including scholarship opportunities, early next week.
Here’s what people said about our trainings in Louisville, KY and Los Angeles, CA: “As intended, it will be useful with the media – but I believe it will be useful, as well, in working with government groups, treatment providers, etc – techniques for conveying your message, staying on track, using bridging statements to steer conversation.” “Thanks. Job Opening at Faces & Voices of Recovery
Faces & Voices of Recovery has an immediate opening for a Field Organizer. The deadline for applying is November 17, 2006.
Under the Influence: The Film Series
The Recovery Network Foundation’s Under the Influence: The Film Series is moving to Chicago for a November 18th event that will include awarding film critic Roger Ebert the 2006 Recovery Milestone Award. The event is free, but tickets are required from info@undertheinfluencethefilmseries.com.
Let’s Talk Recovery
Let’s Talk Recovery Network is a new network of programs dedicated to the subject of recovery. A variety of shows air from Monday through Wednesday nights from 7 PM to 10 PM Pacific time and can be listened to online. Let’s Talk Recovery is part of the growing network of recovery-oriented media.
