Dear Friends,
As Thanksgiving approaches we want to take a moment to reflect upon all that we have to be thankful for. May hope, joy, and gratitude fill your mind as you enjoy the other traditions of the day. Your involvement in our recovery advocacy movement means so much to all of us here at Faces & Voices of Recovery. We would like to wish you and your loved ones a very Happy Thanksgiving.
Warmest wishes,
Merlyn Karst

Paul Wellstone Mental Health Equitable Treatment Act Update
Thanks to everyone who responded to the October Action Alert and asked their US Representative to call for a vote on the Paul Wellstone Mental Health Equitable Treatment Act. The bill’s main sponsors, Representatives Jim Ramstad (R-MN) and Patrick Kennedy (D-RI) have decided to wait until the new Congress convenes to take further action on the bill.
