A New PATH (Parents for Addiction Treatment and Healing) Faces of Recovery Calendar

In 2004 A New PATH created the first “Faces of Recovery” calendar that featured thirteen people who graciously shared their life stories in order to help others to understand and experience both the devastation of the disease and the miraculous reality of recovery. The calendar was so successful that A New PATH has continued the project in 2005 and 2006 with 13 new stories of recovery every year. Now the 2007 Faces of Recovery Calendar is available. The individuals highlighted in each month are chosen from every walk of life, including dancers, models, rock stars, treatment professionals, doctors, lawyers, etc. An artist in the Arts and Corrections program at Donovan State Prison created the cover design. Krista Oliver, whose story was highlighted in 2004, did the photography for this year’s calendar.

The calendar is a very visual example that treatment works and recovery happens everyday. We do hope to see it hanging in homes and offices throughout San Diego County, California and the United States. Your support of this project will be recognized and appreciated.

A New PATH is a non-profit organization of parents, concerned citizens and community leaders working together to advocate for better understanding of and treatment for the disease of addiction. For information on how to receive a calendar, contact A New PATH, 2527 Doubletree Road, Spring Valley, CA 91978 or call 619.670.1184 or email a New Path. You can also visit their web sit at www.anewpath.cc.
