Addiction and the Family: An Online Course for Faith Leaders

Addiction and the Family: An Online Course for Faith Leaders is a new online course from the national Association for Children of Alcoholics. The course offers three (3) contact hours of education and was developed to enhance faith leaders’ understanding of addiction and its impact on family members. In addition, it provides strategies that faith leaders can use to help individuals and families start on the road to recovery.

The course provides accessible and affordable education for clergy and pastoral leaders so that they can support the one in four children living in their communities who are confused and hurt by parental addiction. Go here to access the course and complete the registration process. The registration fee for the three hour course is $35. A certificate can be printed out upon completion of the course. NACoA is an Approved Education Provider through NAADAC, The Association for Addiction Professionals.
