Recovery Voices Count

We’ve been collecting exciting reports from the many organizations that were involved in this year’s Recovery Voices Count campaign. Here’s a story and picture about Kentucky’s Tayna Fogle, who was featured in Disenfranchisement Times as a first-time voter. Tayna, who is a leader with People Advocating Recovery and Kentuckians for the Commonwealth, voted for the first time this year after KY revoked her voting rights in 2004. She was joined at the polls by her 26-year old son who registered this year and was the 11th person in line to vote at 6:00 am. Read more about Tayna’s activities here.

If you haven’t told us about your event, it’s not too late! The Road to Recovery 2008: A Showcase of Events is the “wrap-up” show from National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month.
