Moments of Clarity
Christopher Kennedy Lawford’s new book, Moments of Clarity, will be featured in our Online Book Club in 2009. Earlier this year he was interviewed in It’s All in the Journey. Lawford also spoke about his recovery and recovery resources to state delegations at the Democratic National Convention in Denver. Two African-American men have filed charges of discrimination against Home Depot alleging that the company’s rejection of their job applications based on their past criminal records violates federal civil rights laws forbidding race discrimination because the practice has an adverse impact on African Americans and Latinos.
