Nominations Open for Voice of the Recovery Community Award

Faces & Voices' board of directors is pleased to call for nominations for the second annual Joel Hernandez Voice of the Recovery Community Award. The award recognizes one local, state or regional recovery community organization for mobilizing resources within and outside the recovery community to increase the prevalence and quality of long-term recovery from addiction to alcohol and other drugs. Faces & Voices of Recovery's Online Book Club

Our third book club selection is Christopher Kennedy Lawford’s new book, Moments of Clarity, Voices from the Front Lines of Addiction and Recovery. Online discussion for this book will begin on February 1st. Christopher Kennedy Lawford will join us online to answer your questions and participate in the discussion throughout the month of February!

America Anonymous: Eight Addicts in Search of a Life is a powerful and inspiring new book by Benoit Denizet-Lewis. He weaves his own story and observations about cultures of addiction and recovery into the stories of eight men and women and their recovery journeys. America Anonymous will be featured in an upcoming Book Club. Find out if he will be speaking in a community near you here.

Finding Hope in Recovery: Families Living With Addiction was produced by Mennonite Media and will air January 4 – February 22 on local ABC-TV stations. Find out here if the show will be airing in your community.
