2009 Rally for Recovery – September 12

Mark your calendar for this year’s Rally for Recovery – Saturday, September 12! This September marks the 20th year of Recovery Month observances around the country. For the last few years, Faces & Voices has joined with recovery community organizations, people in recovery, families and friends to designate one day in September to Rally for Recovery. Over 40,000 people came together at over 60 events to speak out and take action in 2008 as part of Rally for Recovery. And last year the A&E Network hosted the first-ever Recovery Rally on the Brooklyn Bridge featuring a Recovery Delegate from each state.

In 2009, A&E will continue its commitment to the cause by hosting the Recovery Rally with the Recovery Delegates on the Brooklyn Bridge on September 12. A&E's efforts will take place on the same day as our Rally for Recovery events. Please join us as we bring all of our voices together to help people around the country see our growing national recovery movement. If you’d like to be part of Faces & Voices organizing network to plan your event, email us. There are millions of Americans in recovery from addiction to alcohol and other drugs – join us in putting a face and a voice on recovery in 2009!
