Congressional Addiction Treatment and Recovery Caucus

Ask your Representative to join today! The 111th Congress’ Addiction Treatment and Recovery Caucus is up and running and Faces & Voices is working with allied organizations to enlist one-third of House members join and focus attention on federal policies to support recovery. Representatives Patrick Kennedy (D-RI) and John Sullivan (R-OK) are the Caucus co-chairs, joined by Representatives Mary Bono Mack (R-CA) and Carol Shea-Porter (D-NH) who will be serving as Vice co-chairs. FY 2009 Funding bill advances-RCSP funding restored

The US House of Representatives will be voting later this week on the Omnibus Spending bill for FY 2009. The proposal restores $5.236 million in funding for the Recovery Community Serivces Program at SAMHSA/CSAT. Remembrance
