Recovery in the United Kingdom

The First Annual Highland Walk for Recovery and Recovery Walk in Liverpool on September 26, 2009 are just a few of the recovery-related activities underway in the UK. TheWired In online recovery community has come together to empower people to tackle substance use problems and give hope that recovery is possible. Recovery Rising features stories from people in recovery and in interview with Bill White.

Recovery Support Services for Methamphetamine-Using Clients webinar from the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment’s Access to Recovery (ATR) Program features Karla Lomiglio, Welcome Home Ministries; Faces & Voices board member Carla Ayres, Roots in Recovery; and Lisa Valenzuela, Second Chance. The webinar describes Recovery Support Services and the ways in which they have been implemented in three communities.
