Rally for Recovery! - September 12, 2009

Recovery Month is just around the corner and recovery community organizations and allies are planning hundreds of events – walks, rallies, concerts, picnics and town hall meetings – where tens of thousands of people will put a face and a voice on recovery. This year, as part of Faces & Voices Rally for Recovery! on September 12th, A&E’s Recovery Project’s Brooklyn Bridge Recovery Rally will be the national hub event and organizations will be calling in to let us know how many people have come together to support recovery in their community. We will be working with you to ask people who are at your event to stand up and speak out for recovery by taking action as part of Rally for Recovery! Stay tuned for a special Rally for Recovery! eNews next week with all of the details.

In the meantime, we’re putting together a list of some of the exciting events that have been planned, so that you can find an event near you. Please remember to register your events on the Recovery Month web site as well. Here are a few Rally for Recovery! events to check out:

Hub event: Brooklyn Bridge Recovery Rally

Philadelphia : PRO-ACT RecoveryWalks2009

Miami : Rally for Recovery
