President Barack Obama’s Recovery Month proclamation was delivered by Office of National Drug Control Policy Director Gil Kerlikowske at a September 9 press conference, recognizing the personal determination and support that make long-term recovery possible for over 20 million Americans. A special thanks! to recovery advocates and Recovery Delegates Jim Gillen (RI) and Neil Kaltenecker (GA) for sharing their recovery stories as part of the press conference, where the results from the latest National Survey on Drug Use and Health were released.

Take Action on Wellstone-Domenici Act Regulations today!
Use our Online Advocacy Action Center today to email your US Representatives about the regulations being developed by the federal Departments of Treasury, Labor and Health and Human Services. Ask them to join Representative Patrick Kennedy (D-RI) in calling for the regulations to be released by October 3 rd. The deadline for signing on to the letter is September 21st.
