Nick's Place

Nick’s Place is a transitional home for young men 20-26 years of age founded in memory of Nick Cristarella. Its 10th Anniversary and Gratitude reception was held at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Beltsville, Maryland.

The event, organized and funded by volunteers and family members, featured music by local band Blue Dog; great food and testimonials from Nick’s Place residents, their family members and Nick’s Place supporters. The 130 guests included 22 of Nick’s Place’s 35 former residents who are now productive, responsible and contributing members of our community. They are loving and supportive sons, brothers and fathers. Nick’s Place provides a safe, sober, structured home to young men who have completed treatment for the disease of addiction and are looking for a place to rebuild their lives with others their own age. Nick’s Place is named in memory of Nick Cristarella who died as the result of the disease of addiction. For further information or to volunteer, email Rhea McVicker or call 301-937-0455.
