Pacific Southwest Regional Representative: John deMiranda

John de Miranda, Ed.M. has worked in the alcohol and drug problems field for more than 33 years. First, as a volunteer on the graveyard shift of a hotline and more recently as an anti-discrimination activist. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Stepping Stone of San Diego, a prevention, treatment and recovery agency that serves primarily, but not exclusively, the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities. He has had the privilege of collaborating with hundreds of people who share his commitment to reducing harm from alcoholism and drug addiction and assisting people and their families into recovery.
