Rally for Recovery! 2009 media coverage, flyers, photos and more
Help us raise the national profile of the recovery community and publicize our growing recovery movement by sending us media coverage, photos and any other highlights of your Rally for Recovery! We look forward to working with you to bring national media attention to the tens of thousands of Americans who will be walking and demonstrating that recovery is a reality on September 12, 2009.

A Brand New Day : Check out the Benefit Concert recently held in Baton Rouge at the LA. State Museum. Presented by the Voices of Recovery, the star-studded event included speakers and musicians such as Riche Havens, Jefferson Airplane and others!
Ohio Rally for Recovery at the Woods at Parkside in Gahanna, sponsored by Ohio Citizen Advocates for Chemical Dependency Prevention & Treatment, will be held on September 12th and include live bands, free hot dogs, chips & soda, activities for kids and voter registration. Rally for Recovery!, presented by InTheRooms.com, features a recovery walk, a festival and a concert all celebrating the recovering community. Hosted in Miami, Florida, the event includes free food and beverages for walk participants, raffles, giveaways, a kids' zone, as well as a performances by Aerosmith's Richie Supa and Eric Burdon and The Animals.
Recovery Walks! 2009 is a 3 mile recovery walk hosted by PRO-ACT that honors organizations providing prevention, treatment, and recovery support services, shows support for individuals in need of treatment and their families, and celebrates those in recovery.
www.firstgiving.com/philvalentine is a fundraising website page created by Executive Director of Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR) Phil Valentine to help raise funds for CCAR's 10th Annual Recovery Walks! Recovery Walks! celebrates the thousands of individuals in recovery and offers hope to those still struggling. The event will also feature live music, arts & crafts, exhibitors and food vendors.
