The Johnson Institute’s Sports-Link project
The Johnson Institute’s Sports-Link project coordinates National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month celebrations at Major League Baseball ball parks. The goal is to create enthusiastic and highly visible celebrations of recovery in September across the country. Now in its 5th year, these events have attracted tens of thousands of people in recovery and their families over the past five years and engaged Major League Baseball in celebrating and honoring recovery with government agencies, the business community, health professionals, professional organizations and citizens.
