I have been clean and sober for 17 years. If it weren't for the support of some very key people, I would just about be getting out of federal prison for embezzlement. Instead I stopped drinking and drugging, went to a ton of meetings, got my Master's & my Doctorate and now am Clinical Director of an intensive residential program for women. I have a loving partner that is also in recovery and a belief in a higher power that gets me through the shakiest of times. Today, I have a very good life.
